House/Building/Land Histories*
If you live in an old house, you probably have questions like when was my house built, who lived there before me, what did these people look like, what did my house look like, does my house qualify for the National Register of Historic Places, etc. Historical Research Partners has helped home owners answer questions like these and more. In addition, we have helped farmers and other people whose lives are tied to their land find evidence of how their properties were used previously.
We will work with you to find only the information that interests you. Whether you want to know when your house was built and who built it, or whether you would like a full history of your home and all of its occupants compiled into a lovely 'coffee table book', we can help. Histories generally range from $200 to $2,000, depending upon the level of information you are seeking.
Learning the history of your home will not only be a satisfying experience for you, it is an essential first step in doing an accurate restoration of your home. In addition, knowing the history of your home may give you that added advantage when you choose to sell. Lastly, house histories make a wonderful gift for that person who has everything.
